Black-winged Kite

The Black-winged Kite is a very distinctive falconlike kite that cannot be mistaken with any other bird. On our land, it is one of our favorite birds. We regularly get to see a Black-winged Kite hunting at sunset, and it is always a fantastic experience. It perches on our cork oak trees, glides through the land and hovers like a kestrel looking for a prey. All of that often with a beautiful sunset light in the back, what more could we ask for? :D
