Bonelli’s Eagle

Summer 2022 : it was early afternoon on a hot day this mid-september when I spotted an eagle looking bird flying high in the sky. I took the binoculars and was delighted to see that it was an immature Bonelli’s Eagle!! With that great sighting we have now been able to see the 4 eagles species we can find in our area : Bonelli’s Eagle, Booted Eeagle, Golden Eagle and Spanish Eagle. Happy!

And since then, we occasionally see the Bonelli’s Eagle on our land, almost always very high in the sky and onl flying over.
