Birds of our Land in Alentejo, Portugal
Carrion Crow
We get to see one or two Carrion Crows flying over the land regularly, and occasionally a small flock at sunset. When we moved from Geneva, Switzerland, where there are so many Carrion Crows everywhere, we were surprised to see how few there are here. Driving around, we sometimes see small groups of 5 or 6, but we have never seen big flocks so far. The Carrion Crow is a resident species.
