European Robin

What a wonderful news it was to hear the European Robin on our land in October 2022 for the first time! Depending on the area, it can be either resident or wintering in Portugal. Thus, we assume it is only wintering in our area of Alentejo. We are eager to learn more about the habits of this common yet stunning species on our land.

Now 2 years later in October 2024, we know the European Robin is only wintering on our land. We see and hear 2 or even 3 on our land every winter.
