Tawny Owl

2023 : our first evidence of the presence of a Tawny Owl happened on January 18 when at night we heard the notorious call of the male Tawny Owl at a distance. We really hope we get to hear him again, and may be even see him! Tawny Owls nest in cavities of old tall trees, and even though there are many trees on our land, we do not think a Tawny Owl lives within the boundaries of the property.
