If you are visiting Serpa, you will probably enjoy the historical center, with its quaint narrow streets and its beautiful castle. Serpa is a wonderful town to explore for a day or two. There are great things to do and a few great restaurants like Restaurante Alentejano which is our favorite so far.
While staying in Serpa, you can see some great birds not even leaving the town. Iberian Magpies for example can be spotted in the green areas of Serpa. Also, when looking up, you may see a flock of Griffon Vultures or a Booted Eagle flying over.
